The first image of recently announced AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens now already got leaked online. Moscow-based photojournalist Pavel Bednyakov was invited to a Nikon party in Moscow yesterday and posted a picture of the lens on his twitter account:

Price: US price will be around $4,000. According to converted from the leaked Asian price, US price will be $4,300. For comparison, the current AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens is $1,996.95, while the Nikkor 500mm f/4E FL ED VR lens is $10,296.95.
Length: The rumored length of this lens is 24cm, it will be very compact. For comparison, the current Nikkor 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens is 14.7cm, while the Nikkor 500mm f/4E FL ED VR lens is 38.7cm.
